Ever wanted to take your music to a Sony consultant, a famous band, a music manager or an agent and ask for free advice?
Gympie Muster has your best interests on our agenda in 2018, in partnership with our friends at Turn Up Event.
The Business of Music – How to Thrive in a World Beyond Cds is a workshop addressing changes in the music industry as we move uniquely into an online world.
A social media expert, the man who managed ACDC, Little River Band and Dragon, a man who makes a living selling music at festivals, a specialist entertainment lawyer, a self-releasing solo artist and of course, the Wolfe Brothers (Nick and Tom Wolfe are prepared to talk through their start with Lee Kernaghan which led to their hit singles and best-selling albums)will all be part of the panel for your querying pleasure.
The panel will look at how musicians, artists, and anyone wanting to make music their biz can navigate the new landscape of the music industry, in a world beyond CDs, producing, managing and marketing talent in the brave new world of streaming.
The Muster Club will host the workshop on Friday afternoon from 2.30pm. With plenty of time to grab a feed, a drink and settle into the Wolfe Brothers Friday night Main stage demonstration of what it takes to make it in the music business.
A clever career investment at just $20 per head.*
